The Quick Pattern Generator allows you to quickly generate rhythmic patterns using four chords from your current Chord Block. You can change which chords are used in the generator using the Chord Selector buttons.
1. Chord Selector
This is where you select which chords you want to be included as part of your Rhythmic Pattern. You can switch between chords by clicking on the button, and cycling through the chords in the chord bank.
2. Randomise Button
Clicking this button randomises the chords which are used to populate the progression. This can be useful for generating new ideas for chord arrangements.
3. Pattern Preset Selector
This is where you choose which preset you want to use to populate your rhythmic pattern. The rhythmic patterns are all four bars long, but the Quick Pattern Generator will completely populate the Piano Roll with the Pattern Selected, regardless of how many bars are selected
The Quick Pattern Generator also controls the patterns that are created after making changes to the Chord Settings if the Sequencer Grid is empty.
